For 2001, the company offers you a new way to increase you take-home pay by paying for your group health coverage with earnings that aren't subject to payroll taxes. Your medical, dental, and vision premiums are deducted from your paycheck before applicable federal, state, and local taxes are taken out, which means less of your earnings are taxed. You don't have to sign up for this great tax advantage-you automatically get the tax savings when you elect medical, dental, and vision coverage.
