8 ounces fresh bulk Italian sausage

3 12-ounce cups shredded mozzarella cheese

4 ounces pepperoni

1/4 cup (1 ounce) grated Parmesan cheese

thinly sliced Pizza crust Dough

1/2 tsp each dried rosemary leaves and salt

1 tbsp olive oil

1 small onion, coarsely chopped

1 medium onion, chopped

4 ounces mushrooms, sliced

1 clove garlic, crushed

1 2.5-ounce can sliced ripe olives, drained

1 16-ounce can plum or whole tomatoes, broken up

tsp each dried basil leaves and oregano leaves, crushed

1 6-ounce jar marinated, quartered artichoke hearts, drained and halved crushed red pepper pods

1 small red or green bell pepper, cut into 1/2-inch pieces

 
Prepare your favorite pizza crust dough. Cook sausage in skillet over medium-low heat until no pink remains, breaking sausage into pieces. Remove sausage; reserve. Pour off drippings. Heat olive oil in same skillet until hot. Add onion and garlic; cook until tender, stirring occasionally. Add tomatoes, basil, oregano, rosemary and salt; cook, uncovered, over low heat 30 minutes, stirring occasionally. Cool. Spread equal amount of sauce over each pre-baked crust; top with equal amounts of reserved sausage and half of pepperoni. Add bell pepper, onion, mushrooms, olives, artichokes and red pepper pods to each pizza as desired. Top each with equal amounts of remaining pepperoni, mozzarella and Parmesan cheeses. Place pizzas on baking sheets; bake in 425 degree Fahrenheit oven 12 to 14 minutes. Makes 6 servings.
